Family histories can be difficult to navigate without some kind of reference point. Most family trees start with a single person as a focal point, using them to define parents, grand-parents and children. Since this history is meant to serve all members of the family, I have avoided this tradition. Instead, I have organized these pages into individuals (who never had children) and families (defined broadly) and grouped them roughly by date.

As a reader new to the family history, you may feel, understandably, a bit lost. With a little luck, you may recognize parents or grandparents listed here, and through them, discover your relationship to ancestors and cousins. Searching on your, or a relative’s, name may also help begin your journey.

In the future, I expect to provide an interactive tree that may also assist in providing genealogical context. For the moment, however, the best option is to search my public family tree on Ancestry.com
